  1. I am a researcher of simultaneous native/non-native childhood bilingualism: a baby is exposed to Russian (by native speakers) and English (by non-native speakers) within Russian families. The bilingual upbringing is exercised according to the principle “one person – one language”. I wonder if there are many families in Russia and beyond where this kind of bilingual upbringing is used.

  2. Russian-English bilingualism in a Russian family is now being studied by my son, who himself has been exposed to two languages from his first year of life. His own son is almost two years old now and is also being raised in two languages: his father, grandfather and grandmother speak English to him, while his mother and her relatives interact in Russian. The case is going to be extremaly intresting.
